HRD Caribbean provides HR and performance consulting services to organisations across the wider Caribbean. We work with small and medium-sized businesses to improve organisational design, leadership capability, workforce performance and customer experience.
HRD Caribbean is led by Michelle L. McDonald, a formally trained hotelier with more than 20 years’ experience in hotel operations, learning & development and senior HR leadership across tourism, government and financial services. She speaks the language of owners, CEOs and Boards. She understands service delivery and the operational pressures behind it. And where many consultants stop at the recommendation, Michelle stays through implementation, so the change is sustained.
Results that last:
- AAA Five Diamond: Reverse-engineered the American Automobile Association (AAA) Diamond rating standards from inspection reports and closed the gaps through targeted training. The result was a 94% increase in quality scores, contributing to Grenada’s first AAA Five Diamond rating in 2016, held every year since.
- Restructuring: Led implementation of a World Bank Group-recommended restructuring of a government economic development body, and played a lead role in redesigning the organisational structure of a national credit union.
- Performance management: Revived an appraisal process dormant for over five years, reaching 100% completion.
